Get those pens all inked up because the first Trailer for Netflix's live-action film adaptation of "Death Note" is here!

Based on the massively-popular manga and anime series of the same name, this is latest "Death Note" live-action adaptation and the first to feature a predominantly white cast.

Within hours of the Trailer's release, netizens couldn't help but notice the movie's non-Asian cast and have tweeted out their thoughts about it.

Having said that though, most people are happy with the casting choice of Willem Dafoe as the creepy Shinihami Ryuk.

While we wait until August 25 for the film to drop on Netflix, check out the "Death Note" Trailer right here and let us know what you think about the cast and the film so far.
