With less than a week to go before the live-action "Ghost in the Shell" movie is finally released, Paramount Pictures have decided to treat fans everywhere by releasing the first five minutes of the film online!

The clip is a live-action recreation of the famous "building jump" action sequence from the original 1995 anime film, and it is absolutely stunning. Filled with visual homages of cyberpunk and sci-fi thrillers of yesteryear, such as Blade Runner and The Matrix, as well as some heart-pumping shootout scenes, this clip offers up a promising glimpse into what fans can expect from the adaptation.

While we wait for the while film to drop on March 30, check out the first five minutes of "Ghost in the Shell" right here and let us know what you think.
