Mayday kicks off 2017 world tour “Life Unlimited Company”

Taiwanese rock band Mayday kicked off their 2017 world tour “Life unlimited Company” a week ago with 150,000 fans at Gaoxiong City in Taiwan. On March 18,19 and 20 the band held three consecutive concerts in Gaoxiong. Last weekend, they went North to mainland Guangzhou for two more concerts. 

According to the event organiser, Mayday received more than 100 invitations around the world since announcing their world tour. This year also marks their 20th anniversary.

There are eight more April concerts confirmed in different cities across the mainland, and 10 concerts from May 10 - 23 in Hong Kong. They will also hold two concerts on December 15 and 16 in Singapore.

G.U.T.S  is coming to Sydney!

Taiwanese rap artist MC Hotdog is known for his use of explicit song lyrics. His famous track, “I love Taiwanese Girls” won the Best Karaoke Song at the 2007 HITO Radio Music Awards, but was also banned by the Chinese government on the mainland due to its explicit lyrics. 

MC Hotdog recently collaborated with Playaz for a new single “You Wan Mei Wan.” The song has been announced as the theme for movie “Born on April Fool’s Day,” which will be released on the April 1 (April Fool's Day). The leading actor for this movie is the winner of last year’s Golden Horse Award for Best Leading Actor, Fan Wei. 

Exciting news for Australian MC Hotdog fans; he's coming to Sydney on April 12! Taiwanese singer Chen Yue Chang paired with the Chinese music industry’s best hip hop rappers MC hotdog and talented rap band MJ116, merging as one group called “G.U.T.S.” After a short year collaborating with each other, they have already released an album “Fly Out” and kicked off their “Sunset Black Party World Tour.”
