BTS ARMYs are among the most dedicated K-pop fan groups in recent memory, with many creative fan projects established in celebration. But independent video game developer Aeon Dream Studios (and fellow ARMYs) have set a new benchmark for BTS fan projects by creating an unofficial BTS video game!
Titled "To The Edge of the Sky," Aeon Dream Studios have released the first half of the game's demo, which is free to download from their website.
Taking form of a visual novel, the game is set in the year 2077 and players assume the role of Seven (who is obviously Jungkook), a secret agent who joins a mysterious organisation called Phantom Alpha. As the story progresses, not only will players delve deeper into the futuristic setting, but fans will get to meet some of Seven's fellow agents, i.e Rap Monster and Suga.
Inspired by BTS' "WINGS" album and created as an unofficial fan-made demo, Aeon Dream Studios made "To The Edge of the Sky" out of their love of the group, but don't expect a full version of the game anytime soon. As this is an unofficial fan-made game, the team requires Big Hit Entertainment's consent before any thing else can be done, but Aeon Dream have reached out to the company so perhaps there is still a possibility of a full-blown BTS game yet.
We've reached out to Aeon Dream Studios about their awesome BTS video game, so stay tuned for any updates to this story!
