Every Monday, YouTubers Joey the Anime Man and Aki Dearest join forces to bring you The Anime Show, an hour that covers what’s hot, what’s not, what’s new and what you should be watching in the world of anime!

In the latest episode, Joey and Aki get really gushy over the premiere of a highly-anticipated anime series - season 2 of "Attack on Titan!"

Despite the four year gap between seasons, Joey and Aki noticed is that there were no transitional issues from season 1 to season 2, with the tone and animation style seamlessly flowing from the previous episode to the latest premiere.

While the duo are fans of the show's new opening theme by Linked Horizon (though they still think the season 1 opening is the best), both Joey and Aki are excited about how season 2 appears to be closely following the "Attack on Titan" manga, which should please long-time fans.

To quote Joey on the season 2 premiere of "Attack on Titan" - "Holy crap, that was a very intense episode and a fantastic way to bring back the series!"
