2017 marks a very special milestone for the ever-popular "Sailor Moon" franchise - it is the anime series' 25th anniversary!

To commemorate the occasion, a classical music concert "Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Classic Concert" will be held at Tokyo's Art Theater Concert Hall on August 2 and 3. While many famous soundtracks of Japanese works - such as Studio Ghibli films, Final Fantasy, and Super Mario - have been given the classical music treatment over the years, this will mark the first time that "Sailor Moon" music will be played by a live orchestra. Fans can expect music taken from across "Sailor Moon's" five anime series, movies, and live-action musicals.

As a cherry on top, performing the concert is none other than the Tokyo Phiharmonic Orchestra, one of Japan's oldest orchestras, and at the helm is renowned conductor Makoto Yoshida

Are you excited for "Sailor Moon's" 25th anniversary concerts?
