Following accusations of album sales manipulation from netizens following LABOUM's "Music Band" win on April 28, the group's agency Global H Media his issued out a response to the allegations.

In a newly released official statement, the agency responded by saying that sales of LABOUM's newly-released 2nd album "Miss The Kiss" were not manipulated in anyway, before stating that discussions are underway regarding legal action against those who started the sales manipulation rumours:

“The LABOUM members have spent several years working hard to become a top girl group, and [Global H Media] do not wish for their efforts to be downplayed through the condemnation and insults they have received due to the manipulation accusation.”

For those who are unaware, LABOUM won the first place trophy over IU on the April 28 episode of "Music Bank," which immediately caused netizens to question the integrity of the result due to the group's low rankings on the digital charts. Representatives from "Music Bank" issued out a statement saying that LABOUM won over IU fairly, but netizens weren't convinced and this lead to the album sales manipulation rumours being spread.
