From Secret to Seungri, these comebacks are seriously overdue. Who would you add?

f(x) have always had infrequent comebacks compared to other popular idol groups, but waiting for their return this time around is taking way longer than usual. The quartet’s last album was "4 Walls," released in October 2015. The comeback was a big success, both in digital and physical sales, and the title track even scooped a handful of first place awards on music shows. It’s definitely time for a new f(x) album.

Brown Eyed Girls (BEG) star Narsha made her solo debut in 2010, around the time that BEG were at their absolute peak. While things never took off for her in the same way that they did for Ga-In, Narsha’s self-titled mini-album was a moderate commercial success that received praise from music critics and K-pop fans alike. Her avant-garde visuals and quirky electronic-pop were one-of-a-kind back in 2010, and would still be unique today.

Once one of K-pop’s top girl groups, SECRET have faded from the charts after too many hiatuses and the eventual departure of member Sunhwa. It’s now been almost three years since their last release, 2014’s “I’m in Love,” and fans are dying to see the girls return to the stage. Despite Sunhwa leaving, the remaining members have vowed to continue as a trio and have indicated that a comeback could be on the cards in 2017.

Park Bom

Park Bom had a huge solo career while she was part of 2NE1. The talented vocalist topped the charts with mega-hits like “Don’t Cry” and “You & I,” and also scored a string of hit collaborations with artists like G-Dragon and Lee Hi. With the rest of 2NE1 now pursuing solo activities, it’s the perfect time for Bom to step back into the spotlight.

After School

After School haven’t had a Korean comeback in four years, and Pledis Entertainment seem to have shifted their focus onto newer acts like SEVENTEEN and PRISTIN now. However, loyal After School fans would love a comeback from the girls.

DSP Media’s A-JAX debuted in 2012, and along with NU’EST and BtoB, the boys were tipped to be one of K-pop’s next big boy bands. And it’s not too late to make something huge happen for the boys. BtoB recently landed one of their biggest hits ever with “Movie,” while NU’EST are back in the spotlight thanks to Produce 101. Now it’s A-JAX’s turn!

Seungri’s solo albums have always been my favourite among all the BIGBANG members, and I’ve been hoping for him to return since 2013’s Let’s Talk About Love. With T.O.P. now enlisted in the army and G-Dragon prepping a world tour, now would be the perfect time for BIGBANG’s maknae to drop another solo album.
