What is your K-pop ringtone, PopAsians? Andy's phone is set to BTS' "Spring Day"!
8 May 2017 - 1:19 PM  UPDATED 8 May 2017 - 1:19 PM

Everyone these days have a phone, and so everyone will need a ringtone by extension. But here's the interesting question for K-pop fans - what K-pop song would you have as a ringtone?

In an interesting new thread over on Reddit, K-pop fans got into a fascinating discussion about which song they would have as a ringtone. With Reddit being the home to a large number of fans who have diverse tastes and interests, the answers were certainly very interesting.

Here are some of the ideas fans had on what aspects of K-pop that Western music should adopt:

  • "Beep Beep" by Girls' Generation
Is there any more appropriate song?

  • Haha, maybe "Pick Me" from Produce 101? :)
"pick me, pick me, pick me up"

  • The beginning instrumental in Save Me by BTS has been my ringtone for a long time now.

  • EXID - "Up & Down." That saxophone riff really stands out.

  • I don't use a song as my ringtone but for my alarm, I use Everybody by SHINee

  • My ringtone is the dance break from Monsta X's 'Stuck' and my notification is the opening from WJSN's 'Secret'
And for good measure, my alarm tone is the opening from MX's 'All In'

  • The music from Red Velvet's Ice Cream Cake teaser makes a great ringtone!
One of my friend's ringtone was Troublemaker's Troublemaker whistling part. That's a pretty good one too.

  • Currently I have Nine Muses's Hurt locker as my ringtone but before that I had Blackpink's Whistle for like.... god I think 8 or 9 months?
