**There are spoilers here**

Late last week, ufotable revealed a new key visual for the first in their upcoming Fate/stay night movie trilogy, Heaven’s Feel. Fate/stay night: Heaven’s Feel I. presage flower will air in Japanese theatres from October 14, with currently no word of a western localisation.

Staff involved in the film are experienced with the Fate franchise. Ufotable is animating the project directed by the animation director of Fate Zero and Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works, Tomonori Sudou. Takahiro Miura (Tales of Zestiria X, Fate Zero) will storyboard, and series composer Yuki Kajiura (Baccano, Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie Part 3: Rebellion, Erases) will reprise her role; and Aimer (Bleach, Terror in Resonance, Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works) will perform the film’s theme.

Fate/stay night: Heaven’s Feel I. presage flower brings the third and final storyline of the Fate/stay night series to the big screen. Sakura Mato is a powerful teen mage and younger sister to Unlimited Blade Works protagonist Rin Tohsaka. After falling in love with a competitor of the Holy Grail War, Sakura finds herself involved in a battle royale scenario, awakening a dark hidden power.

The Fate series is adapted from a visual novel by Type-Moon. If you’ve never watched the series before, and if you’re interested in the film trilogy, it’s required viewing. We recommend starting with Fate Zero before watching Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works. Both are available on Animelab.
