1. Kahi (former After School)

Kahi made her idol debut as the leader of After School at the age of 29. Beforehand she was a well-recognised backup dancer working with artists such as BoA, Jinusean and 1TYM. Since leaving After School she has become a vital part of the show Produce 101 as a dance instructor, helping struggling trainees to improve their dance moves.

2. Hyoyeon (Girls' Generation)

Hyoyeon started getting dance lessons during her elementary school days. She was taught various styles including hip-hop, Latin and jazz. She’s participated on Dancing with the Stars Korea and also Hit The Stage, where only the best of dancers compete. There's no doubt she is the best dancer in Girls' Generation.

3. Sin B (GFRIEND)

Sin B initially got recognised because she looked like former Girls' Generation member Jessica, but that changed as GFRIEND became more popular, and the group started getting recognised for their amazing knife life choreography. They were the first group to ever do a double speed dance challenge, which is where you’ll see Sin B’s talent shine through best.

4. Minzy (former 2NE1/Solo)

When Minzy was young she would compete in various dance tournaments taking home multiple awards. A video of her amazing dance skills at a competition went viral and YG’s CEO Yang Hyun Suk saw it and contacted her to join the label while she was only in the sixth grade. She’s currently left YG and gone solo with her track ‘Ninano,’ and has joined the variety show Unnie’s Slam Dunk as a cast member.

5. Momo (TWICE)

Momo was originally eliminated in the third mission from JYP’s survival show ‘SIXTEEN,’ which would eventually form TWICE. Although on the last episode Momo was announced to be the final member of the group with a JYP representative saying, "Momo is extremely good in dance and performance. We believe that she will be a great addition to really complete TWICE.” Since then she’s competed on dance survival show Hit The Stage and has never been shy about showing off her freestyle moves when on a show.

6. Chungha (former IOI/Solo)

Chungha first got recognition from her Produce 101 stage performance, making everyone's jaw drop when she freestyled to Beyonce’s ‘Partition.’ She slowly became more popular, creating her group’s dance choreography and impressing the trainers. Kahi, who was a dance instructor during the first season of Produce 101 said that her favourite trainee was Chungha due to her incredible dance talent.

7. Victoria (f(x))

Victoria was scouted by SM Entertainment in Beijing, China where she won second place at a dance competition. She’s currently the leader and main dancer of f(x) and, due to her Chinese training, she has extraordinary flexibility.

8. Seulgi (Red Velvet)

Seulgi has shown she can bust a move during her time with Red Velvet but can also easily dance to male choreography such as SHINee’s ‘Sherlock’ and EXO’s ‘Growl’ - impressing the show hosts and the public alike.

9. BoA (Solo)

BoA debuted when she was 13, in 2000. She’s worked her way up the ranks and has earned the title as the queen of k-pop being one of the first idols in history to successfully break into the Japanese and American markets. When she dances BoA seems to float with grace, making all of her moves look smooth and effortless.
