After 7 wonderful years together, SISTAR recently announced that their latest single "Lonely" will be their last, and now the girls have opened up about their upcoming disbandment.

Sitting down for a new interview, the members says that the decision to disband was decided by everyone. After living with each other for 7 years, each member decided it was time to go down different paths and focus on their own individual activities.

While "Lonely" may be their last song, SISTAR are certainly going out with a bang as the single has achieved an all-kill on several Korean music charts upon release, something that has surprised the girls. Bora revealed that SISTAR had no expectations this time as "Lonely" is not the usual SISTAR Summer track, thus the group were pleasantly surprised and thankful at its reception.

As for the possibility of a reunion at some point, Dasom didn't rule it out as SISTAR's disbandment wasn't due to everyone being on bad terms. With older groups reuniting and every member still close to each other, Dasom says it could happen one day, but obviously not for a while.

It's been a great 7 years, SISTAR, and we wish nothing but the best for you in the future!
