With his endless charm and boundless energy, it goes without saying that GOT7's Jackson is one of the funniest people in K-pop. However, being labeled the "funny" guy on every variety show does have its drawbacks.

In a new interview on GOT7's "Fly In Seoul" DVD, Jackson opens up about his personal goal and being pigeonholed as GOT7's funny guy. While he admits that being energetic is just who he is, he is also just a human like everyone else and will have their moments of quiet reflection and seriousness. But because of how fans perceive Jackson's beagle-like personality, people quickly jump to conclusions that he is sick, sad, or angry during variety show moments when he is sincere and quiet.

This misunderstanding has unfortunately stayed with Jackson, so much so that he sometimes thinks that he shouldn't have appeared on any entertainment shows. With that in mind, Jackson has set a personal goal for himself to showcase a more sincere and serious side of himself going forward.

Don't worry, Jackson, we'll love and support you in whatever you do.
