K-pop members are usually designated specific roles within their group, but there are some idols who have enough talent to go beyond what their parts.

In a new thread over on Reddit, K-pop fans got into a fascinating discussion about which K-pop rappers are also surprisingly good singers. With Reddit being the home to a large number of fans who have diverse tastes and interests the answers were certainly very interesting.

Here are some K-pop rappers who fans think are also great singers:

  • Yoon Mi Rae, that is all.

  • For idol rappers, Minhyuk from BtoB hands down!!

  • Dongwoo and Hoya. I especially enjoy Hoya's singing.

  • Yubin! She's an amazing rapper but wow when her verses come on in Why So Lonely it's great. She really adds something special to that song. Other ones worth mentioning are Draw Me, Remember, and Faded Love. There's something amazing about her low tone that is just so special to me whenever she sings. I really love her singing voice as much as her rapping, it's just so unique!

  • Gaeko

  • Rocky, the lead rapper from ASTRO, has a surprisingly great voice. Sometimes I wonder why he's not one of the lead vocalists of the group. This kid's a triple threat.

  • Junhyung from Highlight

  • I really like Zico's vocal tone and style when he sings! She's A Baby & I Am You, You Are Me. My personal fave is his drunk acoustic version of IAYYAM so I can't miss that out~
