He may know his anime, but Joey is a newbie when it comes to cosplay!

Every Monday, YouTubers Joey the Anime Man and Aki Dearest join forces to bring you The Anime Show, an hour that covers what’s hot, what’s not, what’s new and what you should be watching in the world of anime!

In the latest episode, the duo talk about something that Joey is a newbie in while Aki is considered a relative expert in - cosplay!

Having only cosplayed once in his life as Gintoki from Gintama, Joey quickly found that cosplay is quite the uncomfortable experience as he found it to be super hot while in his costume and wig. While he understands the love of cosplay, it's simply something that Joey isn't that experienced with.

For Aki, she's had considerable experience in the world of cosplay but even she has some issues with it, namely those toxic people who take it too seriously and nitpick at every little detail on everyone's costumes. Having said that though, those people are the exception and Aki still loves cosplaying as it's a way for people to celebrate what they love in a safe space.
