T.O.P's doctors held a press conference at 4pm (KST) today, June 7, after his mother agreed to have a medical briefing for the media.

In their press conference T.O.P's doctors said, Choi Seung-hyun arrived in the emergency room on June 6 unconscious. In the briefing doctors described this as a deep sleep, and although he is still in a deep sleep, he is improving.

During the briefing, his emergency doctor said she couldn’t say exactly when T.O.P would fully recover, but in her experience patients usually recover within a week if there are no other complications. They will continue to watch him in the intensive care unit (ICU) to monitor his breathing.

After he was found unconscious on the morning of June 6, the BIGBANG rapper was reportedly rushed straight to hospital.

Reports since the incident, from his mother, the police and the hospital about what was happening have been conflicting.

Following the numerous reports about T.O.P's condition, the BIGBANG rapper's mother spoke to the media on June 7.

Speaking, through tears, in front of the hospital emergency room, T.O.P's mother reportedly said, "T.O.P still couldn't recover his consciousness, so why have the police announced that?" She then said,"[T.O.P's] condition is still not good so please don't report any biased news."

After these reports surfaced, the doctors held their press conference on the afternoon of June 7.

We will update as more information comes through.
