How can we not watch a K-drama made by idols from Red Velvet, MAMAMOO, Lovelyz, and more?

K-dramas usually features K-pop idols as on-camera talent, but for the upcoming new variety show "Idol Drama Operation Team," this formula is flipped completely on its head!

In an interesting take on the format, "Idol Drama Operation Team" is a new show in which a number of girl group members are tasked with writing, producing, and starring in their own K-drama. The show stars Red Velvet’s Seulgi, MAMAMOO’s Moonbyul, CIVA’s Kim Sohee, Oh My Girl’s YooA, Lovelyz’s Soojung, SONAMOO’s D.ana, and Jeon Somi, so fans can certainly expect an overabundance of shenanigans and talent.

The show is scheduled to premiere on June 10 and to build up some hype, a brand new trailer has been released. From serious story discussions in the writers room between all the idols (and complaints over the difficulties of writing a show!) to various shenanigans as the girls get everything ready for their show (such as new choreography, new songs, and acting lessons), watching the behind-the-scenes stuff will be as entertaining as the girls' K-drama itself!

While we wait for the premiere of "Idol Drama Operation Team" on June 10, check out the fun-filled trailer for the variety show right here and let us know what you think.
