ELFs everywhere were super excited when news came out the other week that Super Junior are prepping for a comeback, but some fans are demanding that Sungmin be removed from the group.

One of Super Junior's biggest fan communities, DC Super Junior Gallery, issued out a public statement about boycotting Sungmin's activities, writing that “DC Super Junior gallery will not tolerate Sungmin’s disrespectful attitude toward fans and independent behavior that does not consider the group as a whole. We demand that Sungmin be expelled from the group.

For those who are unaware, Sungmin has recently faced criticism from some fans due to the lack of personal updates about his life changes and milestones, such as his marriage to actress Kim Sa Eun in 2014. In addition to fans finding out about Sungmin's life through news reports rather than the singer himself, some fans aren't too happy with Sungmin's lack of communication following his military discharge back in 2016.

DC Super Junior Gallery concludes by stating that it will no longer support Sungmin, writing that “[DC Super Junior Gallery will] no longer support Sungmin, who has shown disrespectful attitudes and behaviors toward fans, and we will boycott all of his activities as a celebrity. [DC Super Junior Gallery] believe that Sungmin being part of Super Junior will affect their activities in the future and request that he halt his activities as a member of Super Junior.

At the time of writing, there has been no confirmation as to who will be part of the line-up for Super Junior's comeback.
