Following news that YG Entertainment will be debuting a new boy group later this year via a new survival program, new reports have come out stating that YG are planning more survival shows.
According to a new report from Isplus, YG will be launching a brand new male trainee survival program that will take on a "Produce 101" format. The show will be overseen by "Produce 101" and "Show Me The Money" producer Han Dong Chul, and it is reported that YG will be collaborating with other companies and their rookies for this new show.
This new survival program is completely separate to YG's recently-announced boy group competition show, and is scheduled to air towards the latter half of 2017. Not only will YG CEO Yang Hyun Suk be personally involved, but Teddy Park, G-Dragon, Taeyang, and PSY will all appear on this new survival show as judges.
In addition to this new survival show and its boy group competition show, YG have also stated that reality shows for Black Pink, iKON, and WINNER are also planned, though no details have been revealed just yet.
