BTS have overtaken Taylor Swift in the Billboard 50 history books!

BTS have been riding a wave of momentum on the Billboard charts in for a number of months now, and now the boys have hit yet another big milestone on the Billboard Social 50 chart!

Having notched up 22 weeks at No.1 on the Social 50 chart back in May 6 and overtaking some big-name pop stars such as Miley Cyrus and Rihanna for weeks at the top, BTS have now scored their 29th week at No.1 for the week ending in July 1. Not only does this push BTS past Taylor Swift (28 weeks) for number of weeks at the top, the group are now 2nd in weeks spent at No.1 on the Social 50 chart, sitting just behind Justin Bieber (161 weeks).

Perhaps the most impressive part of BTS' run on the Social 50 Chart is their consistency, having never left the top 2 positions since the boys first hit the chart on October 29, 2016.

It's not just BTS who have made a splash this week on the Billboard Social 50 as SEVENTEENCL, and Black Pink have all managed to land on the chart, coming in at No.16, No.42, and No.50 respectively.

A huge congrats to BTS for their latest Billboard chart achievement, and a second huge congrats to SEVENTEEN, Black Pink, and CL for making it into the Billboard Social 50 this week!
