From the release of their massively-successful "WINGS" album to recently winning their first Billboard Music Award, it's been a big 12 months for BTS. Now the boys have received another big honour, and from none other than one of the most influential publications around, TIME Magazine!
The publication just released its annual "25 Most Influential People On The Internet" list and BTS managed to make the cut in 2017, coming in alongside other fellow influential people such as Katy Perry, Chance the Rapper, actress Yao Chen, Rihanna, and JK Rowling.
TIME noted BTS' recent achievement of overtaking Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez on the Billboard Social 50 Chart as an incredibly notable feat, as well as their recent Billboard Music Award win. The publication also gave props to BTS' massive (and still growing) fanbase, which helped push their "WINGS" album to a peak of No.26 on the Billboard 200 Chart - the highest peak for any K-pop album - all of which played a big part in BTS making TIME's 2017 most influential people on the internet list.
A big congrats to BTS for receiving such a big honour from TIME Magazine!
