When a new K-pop group debuts, the average age of all its members is usually around 20. Well, time to say hi to a new rookie K-pop girl group whose maknae is 27 years young!

Meet Berry Chu, a six-member girl group who debuted back in March, 2017 with their first single and MV, "Hey Stranger." In contrast to most other fresh-faced rookie groups, the average age of Berry Chu is 31 years old (the oldest member is 34 while the youngest is 27), which is unusual in the current K-pop industry. Having said that though, the girls all had careers prior to the formation of Berry Chu, having all been racing models at one point in time.
