In some unfortunate news, KinKi Kids member Tsuyoshi Domoto has been hospitalised.

According to a new report from Oricon News, the J-pop star started suffering from "sudden sensorineural hearing loss," which is the rapid and unexplained hearing loss in one ear, and will remain in hospital for a week. News of Tsuyoshi's hearing loss was shared by his fellow KinKi Kids member Koichi Domoto on the June 28 episode of TV Tokyo's "Ongakusai 2017," where Koichi apologised for Tsuyoshi's absence and explaining that it was due to doctor's orders to rest for a week due to his hearing loss.

Sankai reports that Tsuyoshi Domoto had initially complained about feeling dizzy and hearing problems in his left ear on June 27. Upon receiving a medical examination, the J-pop star was told to immediately rest for a week.

As for the planned KinKi Kids performance on "Ongakusai 2017," Koichi surprised everyone by asking Tomoya Nagase of TOKIO to perform with him on the show.

Sending our thoughts to Tsuyoshi Domoto, and we wish him the speediest of recoveries.
