Some idols have been comedians because they’re just that funny. Here's some of the most extra idols;

1. Jackson (GOT7)

When Jackson Wang was introduced as a member of GOT7, people started to notice that Jackson was charming, goofy and hilarious. He immediately went on numerous variety shows in South Korea and China providing smiles wherever he went.

2. Kwanghee (Z:EA)

Kwanghee is an amazing story teller. I remember watching the show Strong Heart and his stories and comments not only had me in stitches, but also the people on the show. While he is a part of Z:EA, he’s most known for his variety show work and his popularity boosted when he became the sixth man of Infinite Challenge.

3. Heechul (Super Junior)

Heechul has become known as one of the bluntest and most hilarious idols in the industry. Lately, he’s become popular due to his work on the show Knowing Brothers where he calls out his guests for smoking or just being plain savage towards them. There’s never a dry eye when Heechul opens his mouth.

4. V (BTS)

V from BTS has to be one of the funniest idols; he’s always just having a tonne of fun. He’s worn high heels, playfully pulled up the hair of a fan and danced with a stocking on his head. He’s unpredictable and always playful.

5. Key (SHINee)

Key is never afraid to speak his mind. His unique personality has seen him do everything from dress up as a girl on Saturday Night Live to despising his We Got Married partner Arisa for wearing ugg boots. He’s always expressed how he really feels which is why he’s become so popular.

6. Sooyoung (Girls' Generation)

Sooyoung has embraced her funny side. She loves to play pranks on the members, imitate celebrities and make witty comments. I guess the comedian side runs in the family with Sooyoung’s mum saying her room is like a garbage can on national television.

7. Kangnam (M.I.B)

When Kangnam was part of, now disbanded group, M.I.B he appeared in a few variety shows. In a 2014 interview he revealed he only had $3 in his bank account, but since dramatically increased his income with his success in variety shows, continuing to make viewers laugh. He has landed commercial deals too.

8. Hani (EXID)

Hani gained immediate fame after her fan cam video on YouTube, but she gained even more of a following after her variety show appearances. She showed off her honest, carefree personality winning over viewers. She’s the true definition of beauty, comedy, and brains.

I wanted to name one single member of BTOB here but I realised that was impossible. All of the members are hilarious individually and when you put them together it’s like the comedy avengers. They do ridiculous poses on the red carpet, incredible voice imitations and are just overall memes. I’ll never forget that time they covered Red Velvet’s ‘Dumb Dumb’ on The Boss Is Watching. Comedy gold.
