NCT 127 have emerged as one of K-pop's hottest new groups, and the sales of their latest album are proving that the hype is more than justified.
The rising rookie's third mini-album, Cherry Bomb, has sold 105,877 copies on Gaon's monthly chart for June. It's the second NCT album to cross the 100,000 mark, following NCT 127's Limitless, which sold 111,000 copies.
In more good news, the single, "Cherry Bomb," is also the highest-selling and highest-charting single from any NCT act to date. While the group's digital sales are still weak overall, their gradual improvement indicates that they're becoming more popular over time. The song also won first place on M! Countdown, giving NCT their first music program win.
Across their four physical releases to date, NCT have sold over 377,000 copies combined. For a rookie group that's only been around for a little over a year, these numbers are seriously impressive!
