It gets pretty awkward for the interviewer...

it goes without saying that J-metal trio BABYMETAL have that certain "something" in each of their on-stage characters that draws in everyone's attention during every performance. However, this sort of character work extends beyond the stage as the trio remain 100% committed to their personas regardless of whether they are performing, including things like interviews!

In an interview with Kim Taylor Bennett from Noisey, BABYMETAL demonstrated that not only do they look incredible (in Kim's words), they don't stray from their character at any point. While this commitment did make things a little weird for Kim, BABYMETAL did reveal how the "Fox God" plays a big part in the group's concept and in deciding the girls' eye-catching outfits.

As what is required to dress like BABYMETAL, Kim found out that potential members will have to ask the "Fox God" for permission, as well as perform the special "Fox God" hand-gesture!
