BTS recently released their well-received cover of the Seo Taiji and Boys' classic, "Come Back Home," and it has already caught the attention of some big-name Western media outlets like Fuse TV and Billboard!
The group's "Come Back Home" remake was released as part of Seo Taiji and Boys' 25th anniversary project, and Fuse TV had nothing but praise for BTS and their cover. The publication wrote that the boys "honour the song's original bebop/hip-hop feel" while putting a modern-day spin on the song with new electronic synths, new vocal stylings, and revamped contemporary lyrics that connect to BTS' "long-standing, socially conscious messages."
The kind words don't stop there though as Billboard also commented positively on BTS' cover, writing that the group had "reworked the song’s message to emulate similarly inspirational messages that they’ve expressed in other tracks, emphasizing both life’s hardships and the need to overcome those bad times."
Congrats to the great reception to your cover, BTS! Let's celebrate by re-watching their awesome "Come Back Home" MV right here:
