Fans won't have long to wait before the top 11 finalists of "Produce 101 Season 2" make their highly-anticipated debut as WANNA ONE on August 7, and if a new financial report is to be believed, the boys will be making it rain with revenue during their time together!
According to a new report from Isplus, WANNA ONE is expected to generate an estimated 22 billion won (approx. AUD$23 million) during their time together as a group. Based on how the "Produce 101" agreements are made, CJ E&M and YMC Entertainment will each receive 25% of this revenue, and the remaining 50% will be divided up between the members of WANNA ONE.
The report states that not only are fans hyped for WANNA ONE's debut, the boys are already in high demand, receiving 40 million won (AUD$45,600) per pictoral (10 million more than what I.O.I were making) and at least 35 million won per event they attend.
Based on those numbers, we've lost count on how many 0s there are in what WANNA ONE is expected to earn...
