That sound in dance practices when everyone's feet hit the ground at the same time makes us weirdly happy!

K-pop may feature many things that bring many fans joy, such as the performances, the dancing, and the aegyo, but for some fans, it's the little things that makes them happy.

In a new thread over on Reddit, fans got into a fascinating discussion about what are the little things in K-pop that make them happy. With Reddit being the home to a large number of fans who have diverse tastes and interests the answers were certainly very interesting (and funny).

Here are some of the little things in K-pop that bring a smile to fans' faces:

  • You know that sound in dance practices when the whole group's feet hit the ground at the same time?
That sound makes me unreasonably happy

  • Other group interactions. Honestly they could just stand next to each other and I would be like "Look at them. Best friend goals."

  • For me, it's when idols smile and actually enjoy their performances.
A good example of this would be Yujeong from Brave Girls and our beloved I.O.I.

  • When you put your entire library on shuffle and a song you haven't heard in a while but love comes on.
  • I get really happy hearing the fan chants that incorporate all the members' names. I tried to watch all the live stages of Rookie because of the fan chant in the beginning. And last night I went on a Shinee binge and got really excited when the live stages like Married to the Music had the fan chant with all their names in the beginning

  • Seeing my bias smile.
It's such a stupid little thing, but it really makes me happy.

  • Dance practices where they focus more on mucking around than on the choreography (BTS, Seventeen, GOT7 and MX all have these).

What little things in K-pop make you happy, PopAsians?
