Red Velvet recently made their well-received comeback with the release of their newest mini-album, "The Red Summer," and it has already managed to hit it big on the iTunes Worldwide Albums chart!

On July 9, the group's new album entered the chart at an impressive No.6, coming in behind HAIMCalvin HarrisImagine DragonsEd Sheeran, and JAY-Z. Not only does this mark a mega-successful debut on the chart for Red Velvet, but "The Red Summer" is now the highest charting album by a K-pop girl group on the iTunes Worldwide Albums chart this year, which is especially impressive considering there have been big 2017 releases from popular groups like TWICE and MAMAMOO. At the time of writing, Red Velvet is still holding strong at No.6 on the chart.

A big, big congrats to Red Velvet for their big success on the iTunes Worldwide Albums chart!
