The K-pop World Festival is an annual cultural event held in South Korea to celebrate K-pop, managing to bring thousands of hallyu fans from all over the world.
The main draw of the event is the competition element, where chosen applicants from around the globe go head-to-head for a grand prize by performing their own interpretation of popular K-pop songs. The 2017 event is still a little while away, but is already shaping up to be one of the most intensely fought competitions yet as there will be a skilled dance crew from Nigeria competing.
The 6th K-pop Dance Competition Nigeria 2017 was held last weekend, where many skilled dance crews showed off their awesome moves in front of a panel of judges. Dance crew K-Night Africa nabbed 1st place in the professional category, with fellow dance crew Fragiles Dance Crew finishing in 2nd place.
Not only did K-Night Africa lift the trophy at the 6th K-pop Dance Competition Nigeria 2017, the crew are now officially in the running to qualify for the upcoming 2017 K-pop World Festival!
We don't know who will ultimately lift the Grand Prize at the 2017 K-pop World Festival, but one thing is for sure, the event won't be short of awesome stunts, performances, and dance moves!
