If you're a fan of both K-pop and K-dramas, then get ready because there's a three new girl group members who are set to making their acting debuts!
The first is Gugudan's Mina, who will star in MBC's upcoming series, 20th Century Boys and Girls. The romantic drama stars Han Ye Seul, with Mina set to play a younger version of the popular actress.
The drama has been compared to HBO's Sex & The City and has the same scriptwriter as the popular Reply 1997, so expectations are high.
Also ready to beginning her acting career is DIA's adorable Eunchae. Naver reports that the 18-year-old will play the female lead in the Tooniverse web drama Shining Nation, which premieres July 21.
Last but certainly not least is SONAMOO's maknae New Sun. The rapper has landed a pretty good gig for herself in TvN's star-studded drama Criminal Minds, which is a remake of the American series of the same name.
New Sun will reportedly play the younger sister of actor Lee Joon-gi, who is one of the show's leads. Other big names starring in Criminal Minds include Tazza's Son Hyun-joo and A-lister Moon Chae-won, so New Sun is definitely in good company!
Will you be tuning in for any of these new dramas?
