NU'EST's Baekho has tugged on his fans' heartstrings by writing a touching letter to them after he lost his father, who was battling leukaemia and passed away last week.

The letter was published on NU'EST's Korean fan cafe and translated by Soompi.

“Hello, this is Baekho. First of all, I want to thank all of you [for sending me your condolences]. I couldn’t believe that something like this happened, and I didn’t know what to do.

“People around me tried to get me back on my feet, and many artists and employees from Pledis Entertainment travelled a long distance just to be with me. I was able to gain strength thanks to all the words of comfort that my fans have given me. I felt thankful and sorry.

“Thanks to all of you, I was able to send my father away on his last path. I think he would’ve been really happy if he knew how much strength people had given me.

“I’ve only been receiving from my fans. I think it would be quite rare for one person to receive this much love and support in their life. I don’t know how to pay back all this love. Thank you, and I’m sorry these are the only words I can say right now.

“I will see you all soon.”

We're sending Baekho and his family well wishes and keeping them in our thoughts.
