Fans are always super excited whenever their favourite K-pop groups host a VLive broadcast as it gives them a chance to communicate with their biases, but what happens when someone completely unexpected starts broadcasting on your favourite K-pop group's VLive channel?
Well, that's exactly what happened with rookie K-pop boy group MVP and "Produce 101" group WANNA ONE!
2 MVP members, Jin and Been, started a VLive broadcast on July 18, except for reasons unknown, their live stream started broadcasting on WANNA ONE's VLive channel rather than MVPs channel. After a few minutes, Jin and Been realised that they were on the wrong channel and quickly shut down the video before resuming on their own MVP channel.
However, Jin and Been's brief broadcast on WANNA ONE's VLive channel had already struck a chord with fans, garnering over 50,000 views in just 2 minutes (and many comments of "who?").
Not long after the channel mix-up, Jin and Been's VLive broadcast intrigued fans so much that MVP soon trended No.1 on Naver search.
As for what exactly happened, no one is 100% sure as MVP and WANNA ONE are from different companies, and the only reason fans can come up with is that it was nothing more than a technical glitch on VLive's part.
All good though, no harm done here, just a lot of accidental laughs!
