KARD have garnered quite an international fanbase ever since they hit the scene late last year, and now the rookie group's global popularity has been recognised by the Seoul Metropolitan Government!

According to a new report from Korean media outlet KpopHerald, KARD have been appointed as Seoul's global ambassadors, where they will promote the city through the government's "I.SEOUL.U" campaign. The quartet will be the faces of the campaign, following other big name stars such as RainLee Byung Hun, and Super Junior.

In response to being chosen, KARD have said "We're honored to be chosen as the ambassadors of the 'I.SEOUL.U' brand that represents Seoul. We hope to be a help to spread Seoul. We will promote harder to spread 'I.SEOUL.U' all over the world."

Congrats to KARD for being named Seoul global ambassadors!
