Aye sir, the Fairy Tail manga may be over but the anime is coming back!

According to Hiro Mashima, reator of the popular manga series Fairy Tail, A-1 PicturesFairy Tail anime adaptation will return next year. 

The news was revealed alongside the final chapter of the Fairy Tail manga, which first debuted in 2006 in the popular weekly manga publication Weekly Shounen Magazine and is published by is published by Kodansha Comics. The anime first premiered in 2009 and was on hiatus twice, most recently from March last year.

Fairy Tail is a young adult fantasy tale about members of a magical guild called "Fairy Tail." For those interested in catching up on the anime before the next season returns, head on over to AnimeLab. Madman Entertainment recently aired Fairy Tail: Dragon’s Cry, a canonised film that was said to foreshadow the ending of the series.
