It's been about a year and-a-half since KARA called it quits, and now member Youngji is finally going solo!

According to OSEN, DSP Media has revealed that Youngji will make her solo debut in mid-August with a song that's "very different than the releases currently on the market."

So, no trop-house?

The KARA members have been extremely active in both singing and acting since the group parted ways. Nicole, Jiyoung, and Seungyeon have all released solo albums in Japan, while Gyuri has been focused on her acting career in Korea. Meanwhile, Goo Hara has been working on a Japanese solo album of her own, which is scheduled for a summer release.

Are you looking forward to Youngji's big solo debut?
