Black Pink are racking up all the accolades in Japan - and they haven't even officially debuted yet!

Black Pink have yet to officially debut in Japan, but the girls have already made a huge splash in the country, most recently holding a wildly successful sold-out debut showcase to 14,000 fans. Japanese music shows are already taking notice of Black Pink, and MTV Japan saw fit to give the girls its "HOT SEAT" title!

For those who are unaware, MTV Japan selects an outstanding rookie artist making waves in Japan and shines a spotlight on them via the "HOT SEAT." Numerous artists from all over the world have received this title over the years, including Ariana GrandeFifth Harmony, and One Direction.

Despite their official debut being scheduled for August 30, Black Pink have made such a big impact in Japan that MTV Japan have named Black Pink its "HOT SEAT" recipient for the month of August.

A big congrats to Black Pink to slaying it up in Japan already!
