Didn't think another YouTube video would overtake PSY's "Gangnam Style" so soon!

PSY's uber-successful "Gangnam Style" MV was recently overtaken Wiz Khalifa's "See You Again" as the most viewed video on YouTube, and now another video has managed to leap-frog the Korean rapper on the view counter.

Just a few days ago, PSY's "Gangnam Style" was overtaken as the second most-viewed video on YouTube by Puerto Rican singer Luis Fonsi's uber-popular "Despacito" MV. At the time of writing, "Despacito" sits at a whopping 2.98 billion views compared to "Gangnam Style's" 2.92 billion views and it is quickly closing on "See You Again's" tally of 2.99 billion views.

What makes this achievement even more impressive than "Gangnam Style" and "See You Again" is that "Despacito" was released in January 2017, meaning that it has garnered nearly 3 billion views in just six months.

Congrats to Luis Fonsi for releasing what is now the second most-viewed video on YouTube (and likely to be the most viewed soon)!
