Just in time for 'Attack on Titan' Season Three!

Japanese voice actor Yoshimasa Hosoya has returned to work after a four month break.

Yoshimasa Hosoya’s first appearance since his health hiatus was on the radio show, Tansai Genshi. He will return to voice acting later this year with anime serial adaptations of Chica Umino’s slice of life March Comes in Like a Lion and Labao Asai’s light novel Saredo Tsumibito wa Ryu to Odoro: Dances with the Dragons.

Earlier this year, Hosoya’s management announced he was taking a break from voice acting following medical advice suggesting he take time off to treat his throat.

Yoshimasa Hosoya is best known for playing Attack on Titans Collosal Titan shifting teen Reiner and Free! Iwatobi Swim Club’s Sousuke, as well as roles in Haikyuu, Ajij: Demi-Human and Akame ga Kill. More recently, he’s played the shadow possessing bird Tokoyami in My Hero Academia and Yuri on Ice’s Otabek
