In the year since their debut, Black Pink made a name for themselves as being one of K-pop's leading girl groups and for being one of the industry's leading visual groups. Needless to say, there's a few secrets behind looking as good as the Black Pink girls, secrets that Lisa and Jennie have been glad to share!

In a new interview with Billboard, Lisa revealed that monthly assessments were a thing during her trainee days and it was this period that she and Jennie became interested in incorporating make-up and other beauty must-haves into their routine, such as brightly coloured contact lenses and using whitening eye cream as a pre-makeup ritual for eyeshadows.

For Lisa, she pays as much attention to her look on-stage as she does to all the various other aspects of her performance, such as outfits and dancing. The dancer reveals that she loves "red lips, a glowing complexion, contouring, and a smokey eye," and while it is acceptable to have no eyeliner, "mascara is a must!"

As for Jennie, the rapper reveals that her style depends on her mood or the weather, saying that she doesn't "stick to one style only and prefer[s] mixing and matching brands with sort of casual-meets-cool sentiment.
