Jessica Jung released her 10th anniversary album My Decade on Wednesday (August 9), and it's already wowing listeners everywhere.
Netizenbuzz, a website that translates comments from popular Korean media articles into English, has posted a bunch of glowing comments from a recent Naver article about Jessica's comeback.
"Objectively, the song's good. Not a Jessica or Soshi fan, just an ear of the public," wrote one.
Another gushed, "I always liked Jessica's vocal tone so I listened to every release and the quality is really great. I only listened to her previous album once and was like whatever but I can see myself listening to this one on repeat. The other songs are just as good as the title track."
Sales for My Decade have been pretty strong so far. While the title track isn't ranking on Melon's real-time chart, the album itself sold 21,000 copies on Hanteo on its first day. On the Hanteo Daily Chart, Jessica actually ranked No. 2, just behind Wanna One.
Reception to Jessica's solo activities has been mixed at times since her exit from Girls' Generation, so it's nice to see people appreciating her music again!
