T-ara's Hyomin has hit the studio with a very unexpected collaborator.
Last week, the 28-year-old spent some time recording with American EDM trio Cash Cash during the group's recent Asia tour.
The band posted a photo of their session to Instagram, writing: "Killer day working on a song with our gal @hyominnn."
Cash Cash have previously worked with stars like Bebe Rexha, Nelly, and B.o.B, and remixed hits for Katy Perry, Britney Spears, and Lady Gaga.
It's currently unclear if Hyomin is working on more solo music, or if she's just going to feature on an upcoming Cash Cash song.
T-ara's current contract with MBK Entertainment doesn't expire until December, so don't be surprised if you hear some new music from the group or the girls individually before then.
Hyomin's last comeback was "Sketch," which was released last year. Although the song didn't do well in Korea, it was a huge hit in China and won Hyomin the Best Korean Female Artist award at the Yinyuetai V-chart Awards.
