Among the many irritations one faces when flying, delays are up there as the most annoying. While there's no fixing the time lost to a delay, the situation can be made way more tolerable if you happen to have a famous Japanese singer on your flight!

A recent scheduled flight departing from New Chitose Airport near Sapporo was delayed, resulting in many irritated passengers. Among the passengers happened to be famous Japanese folk singer Chiharu Matsuyama, who decided to appease everyone's frustrations by borrowing the plane's in-flight microphone and singing the opening lines of his famous song "Ozora to Daichi no Naka de.

Needless to say, this impromptu performance surprised every passenger on-board, and Matsuyama managed to bring a smile to everyone's face with his song.

So next time there's a delayed flight, have a famous singer perform an impromptu song over the in-flight microphone!
