It took three years for Sunmi to make a solo comeback, but the former Wonder Girls star is proving that her popularity is as strong as ever.

The 25-year-old's new single "Gashina" is absolutely slaying the digital charts, and has been sitting pretty at No. 2 on Melon's real-time chart for the past two days.

The tropical reggaeton track, which was produced by YG Entertainment's Teddy, also topped the Bugs and Genie daily charts, and even hit No. 1 on the Instiz iChart.

Female soloists don't tend to do as well as girl groups, but Sunmi has been consistently successful since making her solo debut in 2013. Her first two singles, "24 Hours" and "Full Moon," both reached No. 2 on the Gaon Digital Chart, with the latter also winning first place on Inkigayo.

It looks like there's just no stopping Sunmi!
