JYP Entertainment is the first Korean entertainment agency to ban after-hours work requests through messaging services.

According to Naver, Park Jin Young has requested that his staff should not be contacted with work related matters after completing their schedules for the day, unless it's an urgent situation.

Because of the unique nature of the entertainment industry, it's not uncommon for work to stretch beyond the usual hours and for issues to arise at all different times.

Soompi also reports that the, "Korean National Assembly has proposed an amendment to the Labor Standards Act to ban the assignment of work through messaging services outside of work hours."
