2PM's Taecyeon has started his mandatory military service.

JYP Entertainment confirmed to Naver on Monday that the 28-year-old "quietly enlisted" in the military today.

Prior to enlisting, Taecyeon was busy with acting projects all year. The rapper had lead roles in the OCN drama series Save Me and thriller film House of the Disappeared.

His fellow 2PM members have also been busy with individual activities. Junho and Wooyoung have been promoting as soloists in Japan, while Chansung is busy doing dramas and musical theatre.

2PM's last comeback was Gentleman's Game exactly one year ago.
