After performing a series of successful live showcases and concerts in Japan last month, Black Pink have made their highly-anticipated Japanese debut on August 30 with the release of their first Japanese album, and it has been nothing short of a huge success already!

According to Oricon, Black Pink's debut Japanese album has placed at No.1 on its weekly album chart, managing to sell approximately 30,900 copies since its release on August 30.

Not only is this another great achievement by Black Pink, but this reportedly makes the girls the third foreign artist to debut at No.1 on the Oricon weekly album chart after Russian duo t.A.T.U and their labelmates, 2NE1.

Congrats to Black Pink on what's been a massively successful Japanese debut so far!
