There was a chance that Prince Mak and Jackson could've been at the same company!

Another week and that means only one thing - Prince Mak is back on SBS PopAsia radio with "The Prince Mak Hour!"

In this week's episode, Prince Mak was asked how he got to know GOT7's Jackson and how they're now BFFs, to which he was more than happy to talk about!

Prince Mak and Jackson had met back in 2014 at Inkigayo, roughly around the same time when they both debuted. It was here that Jackson had heard about JJCC and was really curious to meet the group's "Chinese member," and he was more than happy to meet Prince Mak.

Jackson was keen to exchange numbers and hang out, Prince Mak wasn't initially able to do this because of his manager (and because he forgot his number). While numbers were eventually exchanged and phone calls were had, there was no Prince Mak/Jackson hangouts due to company rules.

However, it was in the past few months when they became BFFs since both Jackson and Prince Mak are both focusing on their solo work in China, and thus they both could hang out now!

Fun fact - Prince Mak was actually scouted by JYP Entertainment back in 2010 but he turned them down, so there was a chance that he and Jackson could've been in the same company!

Listen to Prince Mak talk about how he became friends with GOT7's Jackson at the 2:09 mark:
