Following backlash from fans over a perceived racist Asian joke in a video uploaded yesterday, The Chainsmokers have since taken down the video and released an apology.


Fans are not happy with The Chainsmokers after they uploaded a video interview, making a racist Asian joke.

In the interview Alex Pall says he'd take his dog anywhere except China.

"Well I don't know if I'd bring her to China," he says.

After he says he wouldn't bring his dog to China Alex starts laughing and the interviewer looks taken aback. 

There has been a flood of criticism from fans under the Tweeted video, especially from BTS fans. The video was posted just hours after the news that The Chainsmokers would be collaborating with BTS was announced.
